- Data preparation and quality assurance in MS Excel and Pandas (Python)
- Structuring of data records and transfer to table structures (SQL)
- Management and improvement of data flows and Python scripts
- Training and improvement of AI models from the field of NLP (natural language processing)
- Research on industry and economic topics
What you should bring with you:
- You are pursuing bachelor or master’s degree in business informatics, industrial engineering, informatics, business mathematics or a comparable field and have ideally gained initial practical experience in supply chain, business, or consulting.
- Interests in mathematics, statistics, and programming with a strong affinity for data and data structures
- Good knowledge of Python (especially Pandas, pyTorch, Transformer, etc.) and SQL/NoSQL
- Very good knowledge in MS Excel
- You have good communication skills with business fluency in German and English and enjoy collaboration in agile teams
Important information:
- Working part-time : The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: You must be enrolled and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
- You should live close to our site in Essen: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.
